Great film, and indeed all great art, needs a venue to reach the public in a meaningful way. When a community gathers together to support a venue for sharing art, it says a lot about that community. It says the community needs more than business, residential, even academic enterprise. A community dedicated to art is a community dedicated to sharing ideas from different places, different types of people, different moments in time, and from within the community itself.
